Review of Kaslo Hotel: A Family-Friendly RetreatDuring our recent family vacation at Kaslo, we experienced a charming blend of comfort and local culture. The hotel's heritage building, recently renovated, is well-maintained, reflecting careful attention to detail. Our spacious room, equipped with a small fridge, provided an inviting atmosphere for relaxation. The quietude, enhanced by an efficient heating system, ensured restful nights. The hotel's location offers immediate access to delightful family activities. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the stunning open waters of Kootenay Lake, which provided endless fun for my family. Witnessing the local school children perform the traditional Maypole Dance at Vimy Park added a lovely touch of cultural immersion. On a leisurely day, we took advantage of the hotel's pontoon boat, which, equipped with an onboard barbeque, became the centerpiece of our family fun on the water. Dining at the hotel was convenient, with breakfast and lunch options that satisfied our tastes. Kaslo not only met our travel needs but enriched our experience with opportunities for engagement in the local community.
